The Vogue Apollo model comes in two electronic variants: CANBUS and UART. They are physically identical but electronically incompatible. This product is the CANBUS variant.

This is exclusively intended for e-bikes with a mid-motor system, specifically Bafang drives. It is NOT compatible with bikes that have front or rear hub motors (which typically require the UART version).

How to identify the required protocol:

To ensure you select the correct battery, check the serial number on the barcode sticker on the bottom of your old battery:

• You need the CANBUS variant (This page): If the code starts with TAP1C, TAP2C, TAP1CB, or TAP1CS. (Typical for mid motor bikes).

• You need the UART variant: If the code starts with TAP1U, TAP2U, TAP1UB, or TAP1US.

Note: This battery model does not come with an integrated rear light; there is only a reflector present on the casing.
